Frederick Robert Zimmerman (November 20, 1880 – December 14, 1954) was a German American politician from Milwaukee, who served as the 25th Governor of Wisconsin. He was the Wisconsin Secretary of State for 18 years, serving both before and after his governorship. He also served one term in the Wisconsin State Assembly. From 1957 to 1975, his son Robert C. Zimmerman was Wisconsin Secretary of State.
